Five egg-cellent eggs Benedict options at Coffylosophy

The cosy Adelaide café has a great menu, including ham, chicken, pork, salmon and greens Florentine eggs Benedict meals.

Imagine eggs Benedict––heavenly hollandaise sauce, buttery, toasted sourdough or rye, and an oozing egg––with pulled pork on top. Or Nashville hot chicken. Or any one of five toppings. Cosy Adelaide cafe, Coffylosophy has five eggs benny varieties that will make your brunch dreams come true.

The Hutt Street staple has options of leg ham, Nashville hot chicken, pulled pork, Atlantic smoked salmon, and greens Florentine. The hollandaise sauce is fresh and made to order, and bacon and sausage are always available as additional toppings as well.

“Customers always say they’ve never seen such an extensive list of eggs Benedict offerings,” says Harsh Mehta, owner of Coffylosophy. “They all love it.”

Regulars love the café, which has been open for seven years, so much that it didn’t need to close during COVID-19 lockdowns.

“We were one of few cafés that didn’t need to close because we survived through regulars and community support,” Mehta says. “We are very popular for our food, friendly team and great customer service.”

Coffylosophy is well known for its great coffee (I mean it’s their coffee-philosophy) and has other great dishes such as smashed avo and haloumi, French toast and a breakfast burrito, but their eggs Benedict options may be the most unique.

“We highly recommend the Nashville chicken one; We haven’t come across anyone else doing that,” Mehta says. “You’ll have to come and try it.”
