Five further close contact COVID-19 exposure sites identified

SA Health has identified five further close contact COVID-19 exposure sites in South Australia.

SA Health has identified a new COVID-19 exposure location in South Australia associated with a positive case of COVID-19.

If you attended the exposure location, you are required to follow the relevant health advice.

CLOSE CONTACT EXPOSURE LOCATIONS

Melrose Park – Derrimut 24:7 Gym
• Tuesday 7 December – 7.00pm to 9.30pm

Norwood – VDR on the Parade (Patrons inside)

  • Wednesday 8 December – 11.30am to 1.30pm
  • Thursday 9 December – 7.00am to 3.00pm
  • Friday 10 December – 7.00am to 9.00am

Norwood – Vileroy

  • Tuesday 7 December – 10.30am to 4.00pm
  • Wednesday 8 December – 10.30am to 4.00pm
  • Thursday 9 December – 10.30am to 4.00pm

Plympton Park – Revive Fitness Centre

  • Monday 6 December – 10.30am to 12.30pm (Gym)
  • Monday 6 December – 11.00am to 11.15am (Creche)
  • Monday 6 December – 12.00pm to 12.15pm (Pool)

Rex Flight ZL465 – Melbourne to Adelaide (Rows 21 to 25)

  • Sunday 5 December – 4.45pm to 5.40pm

Unvaccinated contacts – If you are unvaccinated and were at one of the above Close contact exposure locations at the specified date and time, you must:

  • immediately quarantine for 14 days since you were at the location
  • get tested immediately
  • get tested again on day 6 and day 13
  • complete this form to notify SA Health you were at this location

Vaccinated contacts – If you are vaccinated and were at one the above Close contact exposure locations at the specified date and time, you must:

  • immediately quarantine for 7 days since you were at the location
  • get tested immediately
  • get tested again on day 6 and day 13
  • not attend high risk settings or COVID Management Plan events for 14 days after exposure
  • wear a surgical mask when around others
  • avoid contact with vulnerable people, avoid non-essential activities where possible and avoidshared spaces and maintain physical distancing on days 8 to 14 after exposure.

CASUAL CONTACT EXPOSURE LOCATIONS

Glenelg South – Frankie the hair & beauty bar

  • Tuesday 7 December – 12.45pm to 2.00pm

Norwood – VDR on the Parade (Takeaway)

  • Thursday 9 December – 7.00am to 3.00pm
  • Friday 10 December – 7.00am to 9.00am

Tennyson – Afghan Make up Artist

  • Thursday 9 December – 12.30pm to 1.30pm

If you were at one of the above Casual contact exposure locations at the specified dates and times, you must:

  • get tested immediately and quarantine until you receive a negative result
  • get tested again on day 6 and day 13
  • wear a surgical mask when around others at all times
  • avoid contact with vulnerable people (elderly, pregnant, young children), avoid non-essentialactivities where possible, avoid shared spaces and maintain physical distancing.

If you were at any of the above locations, but not at the specified date and time, monitor yourself for symptoms and get tested as soon as symptoms develop.

You may not always receive a call, SMS or email from SA Health. You must follow the relevant health advice even if you have not been contacted.

If you have any COVID-19 symptoms, no matter how mild, please seek testing as soon as possible.
