Five new major brands announced for Parafield Airport District Outlet Centre

Five more major retail brands have been added to the huge upcoming Parafield Airport’s $50m District Outlet Centre.

Five more major retail brands have been added to the huge upcoming Parafield Airport’s $50m District Outlet Centre.

Joining the already esteemed list of well-loved brands, Strandbags, Cotton On Mega, Supre, Ally Fashion and You + All are all set to open their doors inside this new outlet centre.

There are only four tenancies left to be fulfilled for this upcoming project meaning that the highly anticipated grand opening is on track to happen mid year.

Construction has begun on a brand-new discount shopping destination in Adelaide’s northern suburbs. Located at Parafield Airport, District Outlet Centre will become our city’s first and only undercover discount mall meaning shoppers will be completely protected from the elements while they shop ‘til they drop.

The huge 15,000 square metre site will be home to over 45 big name brands in fashion and homewares surrounding a well-equipped food court that will satisfy even the fussiest of eaters as they work up a shopping-induced appetite.

The 600 parking spaces are all completely free, meaning you can browse to your heart’s content without having to worry about the added expense of parking.

Devwest Development Director, Brett Lovett, revealed that Puma and Sketchers will be joining the line-up of shops as well as Adelaide’s very first Timberland store all in a single-level ‘racetrack’ design that was developed to offer a streamlined and easy shopping experience. A full list of stores can be found below.

“We have aligned with some of the best builders, architects and agents in the business to ensure the District Outlet Centre at Parafield Airport is everything Adelaide shoppers are looking for,” Mr Lovett said.

It hasn’t been all smooth sailing for developers, however, with the 2023 opening date a far stretch from the initial scheduled date of 2017. A combination of factors has resulted in the delayed construction including the obvious Covid disruptions as well hesitancy from tenants to sign up for the project however, the obvious demand for something of this calibre in the North eventually saw retailers come to the party.

Adelaide’s north continues to see significant economic growth with this new $50M development expected to add to the boost, creating more than 500 jobs and bringing yet another attraction to the area.

The centre is due to open early next year with the full store announcement expected in the coming months.
