With over 700 AFL games under their belts, and a lifetime of stories, two of footy’s iconic players headlined an event at Henley Beach Surf Life Saving Club this week.
Dustin Fletcher – retired Essendon club player and widely acknowledged as one of the finest defenders in the league’s history, and Kane Cornes – retired Port Adelaide premiership player, twice an All-Australian and a four-time best and fairest hosted an ‘Uncut’ insight into their two exceptional football careers.
Cornes and Fletcher shared some stories from their football careers and personal lives with the crowd. There were stories, games, auction and opportunities for people to meet the stars.
Mick Adami (pictured with Cornes below) out bid the room to purchase the Kane Cornes Guernsey.
Stacey Quinn (pictured with Fletcher below) was fortunate enough to have Dustin Fletcher sign her copy of his book “Fletch”.
