From degustations to wine tastings, seafood feasts, long lunches, and masterclasses, this year’s festival promises to showcase the region’s world-class food and beverage producers in all their glory.

The Fleurieu Food Festival has launched, offering South Australians a delectable program of over 60 events that will take them on a culinary journey across the picturesque Fleurieu Peninsula.

From degustations to wine tastings, seafood feasts, long lunches, and masterclasses, this year’s festival promises to showcase the region’s world-class food and beverage producers in all their glory.

Local farms, cafes, restaurants, markets, wineries, breweries, distilleries, community spaces, and venues will have the opportunity to shine, presenting the very best that the Fleurieu Peninsula has to offer. This not only establishes South Australia as a must-visit destination for local, national, and international tourists but also celebrates the rich culinary heritage of the region.

The festival has already unveiled a tantalising lineup of events that are sure to provide attendees with an indulgent and unique experience. A not-to-be-missed event is the five-course ‘Degustation Dinner’ hosted by Beresford at their renowned Vale Restaurant, where each dish will be carefully paired with Beresford wines, showcasing the diversity of the McLaren Vale region.

Kuipto Brewing is excited to present ‘The Strawberry Fair’ at Kuipto Hall, an official launch event for their Strawberry Seltzer ‘Naughty Water.’ With a line-up of Ledgard Wines, special strawberry offerings from Harvest the Fleurieu, and live entertainment, this family-friendly event promises traditional fairground fun with a twist.

Lloyd Brothers has collaborated with renowned chef Todd Steel and esteemed seafood suppliers to create a seafood feast to remember. From freshly shucked Kangaroo Island oysters to four courses perfectly paired with Estate wines, attendees will be treated to a culinary journey of the highest caliber.

Peninsula Providore and Precious Little Wines will host a regional produce-inspired long lunch at the Nangkita Olive Grove, led by oil maker Mel Hollick and chef Tom Tilbury. Guests will savor a seasonally inspired menu while appreciating the thoughtful wine pairing. Weather permitting, a grove and olive mill walking tour will also be included in the afternoon’s activities.
