Celebrating 23 years of short film excellence, Flickerfest remains Australia’s leading short film festival and is returning to Adelaide!
Flickerfest brings its ‘Spectacular Short Films With Soul’ to Adelaide on Saturday the 29th of March at the Mercury Cinema and, once again, will continue to screen a smorgasbord of award winning shorts handpicked from over 2300 entries from our Academy® Accredited Australian and International competition just for you.
A highlight from the International programme is the Academy® Award winning Mr Hublot, that recently won the Best Short Animation Oscar®.
In the Australian programme, Flickerfest presents the South Australian Film Corp, Adelaide Film Festival and Whyalla City Council funded Welcome to Iron Knob.

With two programmes, the Best of International Shorts at 6pm and the Best of Australian Shorts at 9pm it’s set to be a great night out – not to mention the Catered Party at 8pm!
