If there’s anything better than being by the water with a glass of delicious wine in hand and glorious sun shining down on us, then we don’t know about it. Unless you swap that glass of wine for a bottle of sangria.
So remember the date of Saturday 24 November. It’s when the Sangria Float is happening and if you have a friend who happens to be getting married that day, tell them to move the date. Or better yet, tell them to bring the party up to the Riverland for the best wedding ever.
What is a Sangria Float? Just a houseboat pumping killer tunes as you float alongside it down the mighty Murray River to the Caudo Cellar Door, where delicious wine and sangria awaits. Last year there was an inflatable amusement park with slides, trampolines and obstacles, so who knows what this year will present, what we do know is that it’ll be a fantastic time.
Sounds like a big day, right? The team at Caudo certainly think so, which is why you’ll be able to camp under the stars by the river and make a weekend of it. There’s no BYO because it’s a winery – duh – but you can bring your dogs if they stay on a lead.
Sangria, sun, water, pooches – it just doesn’t get any better than that.
