Didn’t snag a ticket to the massive upcoming Foo Fighters tour? Don’t fret- extra tickets have been announced for all of the band’s tour dates down under, and they go on sale today.
The additional ticket release means Adelaide’s Cooper’s Stadium, Perth’s HBF Park, the two gigs at Melbourne’s AAMI Park, Sydney’s Accor Stadium and Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium can be packed with as many Foo Fighters fans as possible.
Fresh off the release of their incredible new album, But Here We Are, the 15-time GRAMMY winners are set to deliver an unforgettable live show in November. This marks their first headline tour in Australia and New Zealand since 2018, making it a must-see event for fans.
But that’s not all—Adelaide is in for a double treat. Joining the Foo Fighters on stage will be the immensely talented punk rock group, The Chats. The Queensland punkers took the world by storm with their hit song ‘Smoko’ and topped the charts with their LP Get F**cked. After a rigorous US tour, they’ll be bringing their match-fit energy to rock the stage in November.
Also gracing the Adelaide concert is the Sydney-based band Body Type. With their debut album Everything Is Dangerous But Nothing’s Surprising receiving critical acclaim and a ‘Record of the Year’ nomination from FBI Radio, they are sure to captivate the audience with their unique sound.
The Foo Fighters’ latest album, But Here We Are, has been met with resounding praise. Produced by Greg Kurstin and the band themselves, it showcases their signature sound while reflecting the wisdom and depth gained from their 28-year journey in the music industry. With tracks like ‘Rescued’, ‘Under You’, ‘Show Me How’, and ‘The Teacher’, this album is a testament to the enduring power of their music.
The world’s premier stadium band returned to the stage two weeks ago to kick off their current world tour, which includes headline sets at festivals Boston Calling, Sonic Temple, Rock am Ring, Rock im Park, Bonnaroo, Outside Lands, Riot Fest, and more.
In addition to the live debut of songs from But Here We Are, fans can of course expect the kind of setlists which have made Foo Fighters one of the biggest live draws on the worldwide stadium, arena and festival circuit: ‘The Pretender’, ‘Breakout’, ‘This Is a Call’, ‘My Hero’, ‘All My Life’, ‘Everlong’, ‘The Sky Is A Neighborhood’, ‘Learn To Fly’, ‘Best Of You’, ‘Monkey Wrench’, ‘Times Like These’, ‘Walk’ and more. Foo Fighters will also perform in Japan, Brazil and Abu Dhabi in 2023, before heading down under.
The tour will bring their unrivalled live show to stadiums in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane in November/December 2023, followed by Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington in January 2024.
So, Adelaide, get ready to rock out with the Foo Fighters and experience an electrifying night filled with exceptional performances.
