International touring is kicking off with a bang, with one of the all-time greats the Foo Fighters coming to Australia this year.

After rocking and rolling for 30,000 adoring fans last Friday – the first stadium concert in Australia in two years – the global rock giants will return for tour in November/December 2022.

Unfortunately for Adelaide residing Aussies, the tour will be skipping over us. Local South Aussie Jordan Dźwiniel has started a petition to try and get the Foo Fighters to add an Adelaide date – sign the petition here!

If all else fails, now that the international borders are open, us South Aussie’s could still catch the unrivalled Foo Fighters experience in Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane or Sydney.

This will be Foo Fighters’ first headline tour of Australia since 2018.

Tickets will go on sale Thursday 10 March, or if you sign up today as a Frontier Touring member you can access pre-sale tickets, which will be open as of Tomorrow (Tuesday) 8 March.

This is not something to put on the back burner, jump on tickets as soon as you can as last week’s triumphant concert in Geelong was nothing short of unforgettable.

The Rolling Stone AU described the night as a rekindling of rock and roll.

“As the lights dimmed and the crowd roared, Foo Fighters appeared, feeling like a sight for sore eyes in the wake of empty stages and cancelled tours. Dave Grohl walked around the stage, staring back at the crowd as we all wordlessly exchanged the sentiment that it had been far too long,” said Rolling Stone AU.

With an array of special guests set to join Foo Fighters on their tour, this is set to be one of the top events for the year.

Sunshine Coast (QLD) ‘Smoko’ trio The chats (Perth, Sydney + Brisbane) is one of Australia’s most exciting – and most fun – punk rock bands, with their notorious single going viral immediately upon release. They’ve toured with heavyweights Queens Of The Stone Age and Cosmic Psychos, selling out shows in AU, New Zealand, England, Scotland, and Europe.

Channelling Riot Grrrl-era energy with a 2021 spin, Teen Jesus and the Jean teasers (Melbourne) formed back at high school, the now 20 year-olds having cut their teeth with sets at Groovin’ The Moo, Laneway, Falls, Lost Paradise & Spilt Milk.

Having played some of the UK’s biggest festival stages in 2021, Manchester (UK) emo power-pop dual fronted outfit Hot Milk will perform on our shores for the very first time when they head down our way with the Foos’ (Melbourne, Brisbane + Sydney).

After taking out the triple j unearthed high crown in 2020, Adelaide’s two-piece Teenage Joans (Perth) has gone from strength to strength, sharing stages with acts such as Violent Soho, Ruby Fields, Clowns, Amy Shark and more.

These will be the biggest rock shows of 2022. Act quickly to secure your tickets and book your flights… dates will sell out, don’t miss out!
