Frontier Touring has announced the return of Foo Fighters to Australian shores. The 15-time Grammy Award winners will play Launceston’s UTAS Stadium on Saturday 24 January. The show is a one-night-only stop in Tasmania.

The band returns to the state for the first time since 2015. It is also their first time performing in Launceston. Foo Fighters last toured Australia in late 2023. They played sold-out shows in Adelaide, Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane in support of their 11th studio album But Here We Are.

While they’re not coming to SA this time, we expect plenty of keen fans to make the trip over to Tassie for what’s set to be a massive show.

Telstra Plus Members can access presale tickets from Friday 5 December at midday AEDT. Frontier Members will have presale access from Monday 8 December at 1pm AEDT. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Wednesday 10 December at 3:30pm.

Foo Fighters have sold more than 1.8 million records in Australia. They have achieved nine number-one albums in the country. They returned to the stage in September with a run of club shows in the United States. These shows introduced new drummer Ilan Rubin. In October the band released the single Asking For a Friend. It follows Today’s Song, released in July.

The band will tour the UK and Europe in June 2026. They will then undertake a North American stadium tour in August and September.

Full Flower Moon Band and Launceston trio Spooky Eyes will support Foo Fighters at the UTAS Stadium show.

Presale and ticketing information is available via Frontier Touring.
