Perhaps you’ve heard of Fork On The Road, Adelaide’s food truck/bike/stall event which brings together communities in a monthly celebration of all things food and drink?
Well the team at Fork On The Road has collaborated with the City of Charles Sturt to host a special Halloween event for those of all ages – Don’t Be A Scaredy Fork, on Friday October 26.
The free event will feature an outdoor screening of the 1985 cult classic film, The Goonies. The film is about a group of misfit kids whose mission is to save their home from foreclosure, and thus set out to find treasure as a means to stop this development.
As well as a wide selection of food to choose from, you will be treated (not tricked, phewf) with craft beer, wine, cider and gin, and prizes for the best Halloween costume!
The event starts at 5pm, and The Goonies is set to start after sundown at 8:30pm, with an 11pm finish at Point Malcolm Reserve in Semaphore Park.
The weather (at this stage) is set to be a maximum of 23 degrees and a minimum of 14 degrees – so perhaps pack a blanket for warmth…and protection against monsters of course.
See you there for a scare!
