Food truck royalty team up Friday night in Salisbury

This Friday, two of Adelaide’s most popular food trucks, RG and Van Dough, are heading North for BBQ and dessert.

Ease your way into the weekend this Friday, when two of Adelaide’s most popular food trucks, RG and Van Dough, join forces and head to Carisbrooke Playground in Salisbury.

With the weather forecast for 24 degrees, it looks to be a perfect night to grab your mates, or family, and head to the leafy reserve for dinner under the trees.

The RG food truck has just come off back to back events including the Beer and BBQ festival, Monster Trucks, the Caravan and Camping Expo, and the Up in Smoke BBQ competition, and are now doing a series of back to the burbs food truck pop ups around Adelaide.

Their suburban roadshow offers up an American bbq menu including brisket, ribs, burgers, wings – and best of all, they’ll be bringing their food truck friends with them.

For RG’s first destination in Salisbury this Friday, they’ve chosen to bring dessert and doughnut speciality Van Dough along for the night.

Van Dough are known for their hot doughnuts, flavoured doughnuts, coffee and milkshakes (including an epic Nutella milkshake!)

Catch both food trucks this Friday from 5pm ’til sold out.

Carisbrooke Park is the first in a series of reserves at Salisbury Park that are linked by the Little Para River and walking trails. This large and grassed reserve features shaded junior playgrounds as well as picnic areas and barbecues, both of which have plenty of shade. Paths and footbridges cross the river into Boundary Park.

On the Carisbrooke side, the paths very quickly lead past canoe-cut trees to Harry Bowey Reserve. Multiple trail options on both sides of the river assist access for those using wheelchairs.

Dogs are welcome on leads.
