Set to open in December, Hard Days Night is about to be the new coolest place to loosen up with the crew with a craft beer taphouse and three specialty van.

Hard Days Night is about to be the new coolest place to loosen up with the crew.

Heading to Wright Street in the CBD, Hard Days Night is a warehouse venue serving up burgers, beers and a collection of good times.

Set to open on January 20, it will include a craft beer taphouse as well as three food vans each offering a different specialty. Named after The Beatle’s 1964 song, Hard Days Night is set to be the next coolest kids on the block.

Partners Ricky Hulme and Jordan Neave are the brains behind the operation. The duo have been operating a retro caravan bar called Caravino for 15 months, which they drive around town catering events and food carnivals.

They decided it was time for Caravino to settle down in a permanently, and the CBD was the perfect place to do it.

With Ricky’s experience in bartending for 12 years and Jordan being a chef for 6, they had the vision of a permanent collaboration of food vans and decided to make it reality.

“We like the idea that we have something for everyone,” Ricky said.

“I don’t think there’s many venues with food trucks setup inside permanently – I think it’s a real novelty place and a unique experience.”

There will be a burger van called Whoopigoldburger, a wine and cocktail van called Caravino Bar and a coffee van called Caravino Coffee.

By day, Caravino Coffee will be open out the front of the warehouse serving your daytime coffee and cake cravings. By night, the warehouse will transform into a destination of ultimate cool vibes.

The inhouse tap bar will be operated by small batch craft brewery Shifty Lizard from Mclaren Vale who will pour up craft beers.

Whoopigoldburger will be serving a range of juicy gourmet burgers and fried chicken as well as sides such as vegan popcorn cauliflower and fries. Jordan will be the burger flipper cooking up classic meat burgers as well as a range of gluten free and vegan options too.

Meanwhile, Caravino Bar will be shaking cocktails and pouring wine. There will be monthly cocktail specials made with Shifty Lizard’s Soul Bird gin and coffee for night time too.

The venue will have an alfresco style fit out with retro disco interior and loads of seating. Think disco ball planters, cacti out the front, scattered hanging greenery, and a massive mural – it sends us ultimate cool vibes.

“It will be a fun dining experience as well as somewhere people can chill out and relax for a couple of hours,” Ricky said.

“We want people to soak in the cool ambience and enjoy a laid-back casual dining experience.”

Whether you and your friends torn between Friday night knockoffs, a cute coffee date or a loaded burger feed, Hard Days Night is the place to head for all three.

The front area and Caravino Coffee will be open Wednesday to Sunday 7am-2pm.

The warehouse hours including Whoopi Goldburger, Caravino Bar and Shifty Lizard will be open Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday 12pm- 8pm and Friday to Saturday 12pm-11pm.

Hard Days Night is set to open on January 20 and is located at 301 Wright Street Adelaide.
