Foodbank SA are calling on the help of the public to track down a truck that was stollen last night. Keep reading to found out how you can help.

In the early hours of the morning, a Foodbank SA truck was stolen from their Edwardstown warehouse.

CCTV footage has confirmed that the stolen truck was seen heading towards Marion road at 12.37am.

As you can imagine, this ordeal has been very distressing for Foodbank SA, with the stolen 8 pallet food truck meaning that the volume of food that the charity is able to deliver to those in need is drastically lowered, as well as the severe financial impact that losing a vehicle of this size will mean for them.

Foodbank SA is calling on the public to keep an eye out for the stollen truck, which has the registration plate of WKW877. While other Foodbank SA trucks do look similar, this one has a dropped dropped tailgate.

While the police have been notified of this crime, Foodbank SA is hoping that with the power of social media, the truck can be found and those responsible for the theft can be apprehended.

Foodbank SA does incredible work for hundreds of Australians, calling themselves the ‘pantry of the charity sector in Australia’. They are indispensable within the community.

Foodbank is Australia’s largest food relief organisation, operating on a scale that makes it crucial to the work of the front line charities who are feeding vulnerable Australians. Foodbank provides more than 70% of the food rescued for food relief organisations nation-wide.

Foodbank SA urges you contact the South Australian Police if you have any information on the missing truck.
