Step into Fool’s Paradise at the 2025 Adelaide Fringe for a captivating lineup of circus, comedy, music and magic in an artist-run haven.

Dynamic Adelaide Fringe hotspot Fools Paradise has revealed its highly-anticipated lineup for the 2025 program, bringing an artist-run hive of activity to the southern half Victoria Square/Tarntanyangga.

Offering a rich mix of circus, cabaret, comedy, music and magic from February 21 to March 23, Fool’s Paradise distinguishes itself as the Fringe’s only artist-run hub, where creative expression can thrive in a vibrant, inviting atmosphere.

Open from Wednesday to Sunday during the Fringe period, Fool’s Paradise will host an array of top-tier entertainment between three different venues, with a variety of outdoor activities like trapeze lessons, mini golf and live music also pencilled in.

As the home of over 50 dynamic Fringe shows, licensed bars, and an assortment of culinary offerings, the precinct offers a multitude of free and engaging activities, with standout acts including “All-Star Circus” and “Elixir Revived” by Head First Acrobats, an acrobatic troop renowned for their mix of stunts and comedy.

Other notable acts include Duane Forrest’s Bob Marley tribute, “How Reggae Changed the World”, the “Grapes of Bacchus” circus by Express Move Me, Lachlan Wilde’s “Mysterons” magic show, and “NIGHTRUNNER”, a neon-lit circus spectacle by Victorian group After Dark Theatre.

Beyond the awe-inspiring performances, the square will be transformed into an affordable and spirited environment by night, highlighted by food trucks, vibrant bars, and a complimentary music programme designed to be multicultural and family-friendly.

“Fool’s Paradise is a celebration of creativity and community”, said Co-Director and Performer/Director Callan Harris. “We are thrilled to bring together artists and audiences in a space where everyone can thrive and enjoy the magic of the Fringe.”

During 2024’s Fringe, Fool’s Paradise attracted around 40,000 visits and sold over 24,000 tickets, becoming one of the most popular and vibrant locations in the state. Reflecting on the previous year’s success, the directors have expanded the 2025 programme from 36 to 51 world-class performances with the hope of attracting at least 50,000 visitors.

Speaking on the inclusive nature of Fool’s Paradise, Co-Director Thomas Gorham says their goal is “to create an inclusive and engaging environment that offers something for everyone.”

From world-class performances to interactive activities and delicious food and drinks, Fool’s Paradise is the place to be this Fringe season. Prices start from $15, including special deals on Wallet Friendly Wednesdays to ensure everyone has the opportunity to participate.
