Those partial to fungi and those who consider themselves to be a fun guy (take away my writing credentials) will be stoked about this new weekend getaway we’ve sniffed out.
The Haus at Hahndorf is welcoming everyone to join them on the ultimate foraging experience.
On the Saturday June 1, Kate Grigg, otherwise known as The Wild Food Huntress (which is potentially the most awesome title), will be guiding you from the Haus Restaurant to help you hand pick fresh ingredients from one of the very many picturesque locations in the Adelaide Hills.
This is followed by a mushroom shared dining experience, consisting of fungi pizza and risotto paired with Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir. Then afternoon tea with homemade scones with jam and cream and one nights stay in a Superior Room at The Manna by Haus.
All together, you can expect a very special mushroom education, bus transfer to and from secret foraging destinations, shared mushroom and pinot dinner at the Haus restaurant an a $30pp breakfast voucher for the Haus Restaurant the next morning.
The package costs $285pp with twin share included. Spaces are bound to be limited so jump on it, more info on tickets here.
The Haus at Hahndorf can be found at 38A Main Street, Hahndorf SA 5245.
