Grab your girlfriends, throw on your frocks, and strut around the city this June, as the Urban Cocktail Trail returns to Adelaide.
In 2025, the Neighbourhood Events Co. team took the ‘Cocktail Trail’ to Henley Beach, which proved to be a fun and glamorous beachside affair. Now, they’re bringing the concept back to the CBD, with the same purpose and passion as always.
“The Urban Cocktail Trail was created to celebrate and showcase the hospitality scene within individual neighbourhoods. It first launched in Perth about six years ago and has since grown across Australia and New Zealand. What started as a small, local concept has evolved into a go-to experience for discovering some of the best bars and venues a city has to offer,” shares David Heath, the Events Manager behind this upcoming event.
“The Urban Cocktail Trail was created as a way to celebrate the art, craftsmanship, and joy of a well-made cocktail.”

The experience begins at a starting venue, where guests enjoy a bite to eat before setting off to explore the rest of the trail at their own pace. Each participating venue serves up a unique signature cocktail, but where you stop and sip is entirely up to you.
When asked what makes this year’s trail different from previous years, David explained that it all comes down to the magic of the East End itself.
“There’s such a high concentration of quality venues in one iconic part of the city, all within walking distance. It makes for a really smooth, immersive experience where guests can take their time and enjoy each stop without rushing.”

It’s the perfect excuse to try new venues (and cocktails) that you’d never otherwise carve out the time for. A chance to support Adelaide businesses while soaking up the city’s vibrant drinks, food and hospitality culture, seeing it again with fresh eyes, like a tourist in your own backyard. Whether you’re after something fruity and fabulous like the “Would I Lychee to You” from El Cheeky Flamingo, or you’d rather cut straight to the point with the tiramisu cocktail from BRKLYN, essentially a boozy dessert-in-a glass, we’re sure you won’t leave disappointed.
Here’s the full list of cocktails on offer… but the best part? It’s completely self-guided. A choose your own tipsy adventure.

When asked which cocktail was his favourite, David admitted he couldn’t narrow it down to just one.
“It’s like choosing your favourite child, but a couple we’re especially excited about are the Bird/56 at Honeydripper and the Cherry Smoke at NOLA Adelaide. We think they’ll be big hits, but with that said, part of the fun is finding your own standouts along the way.”
Ticket options range from a three-cocktail package up to a six-cocktail package, all complete with a complimentary $10 food voucher. So whether you’re after a fun little afternoon affair or a full-blown cross-city cocktail caper, you’re sure to be looked after. View the full list of ticket options here.
We asked David for some insider tips on how to make the most of the experience, and his best advice was that a little planning goes a long way.
“Check out the cocktail list ahead of time and map out your priorities. If somewhere’s busy, don’t stress. Head to the next venue and come back later. Everything’s close by, so it’s easy to move around. And if you run out of vouchers, you can always keep the afternoon going by purchasing cocktails at the venues as usual.”
So block it off on your calendar, everyone. This June 6, you have a date with a couple of cocktails.
