The Kensington Hotel has unveiled a vibrant, Spring inspired event on its calendar. ‘Fork and Vine’ is set to excite food lovers as guests enjoy an amazing afternoon of fabulous food, wine and craft beer.
Coming up on Sunday 20 September, the event will include delicious Spring inspired dishes created by Head Chef Jonnie Eime. Along with some out of this world food, you will also experience an afternoon of tasting some Australian wine and craft beer.
Craft Head Brewers from Little Creatures and James Squire will be talking you through their beer making process, as you drink their product. Plus wine makers will recommend what to eat as you sip their fantastic wine. Let your tastebuds enter heaven as the food and wine experience is enhanced with the expert opinions of those in the know!
The cocktail style event will see guests enjoying twelve different dishes including freshly shucked Coffin Bay oysters on arrival, salt and pepper haloumi, lamb shoulder ratatouille and hazelnut ganache with a coffee crumble and vanilla ice cream. And that is just the beginning. Mouths watering yet?
Well also on tasting will be wines from McLaren Vale favourite, Molly Dooker, plus Jansz, Dalrymple, Jim Barry, Bleasdale and Langmeil.
As if that wasn’t enough, Jonnie Eimes will also be running two masterclasses throughout the day, demonstrating how to make his secret red curry sauce to accompany Spencer Gulf prawn tails, and then his mouth watering Cassoulet. This is all too much! Is anyone else super hungry?
