Love food? Love craft beer? Then we may have just found your ultimate event! Some absolutely cracking South Australian craft breweries are teaming up with the deliciousness of the Adelaide food trucks who make up Fork on the Road…
All hail the end of week brew and food feast coming to the heart of the city on Friday 20 November from 5 – 10pm.
Kerbside foodies will be able to wash down their dinner with craft beers from a huge selection of South Australia’s rapidly growing craft breweries including PirateLife Brewing, Swell Brewing, Barossa Valley Brewing, Big Shed Brewing Concern, Brewboys, Campus Brewery, Fox Hat Brewing, Grumpy’s Brewhaus, Gulf Brewery, Malt Fiction, Vale Brewing, Woolshed Brewery, Prancing Pony Brewery, Wheatsheaf Hotel; along with ciders from Lobo Cider, Swell Cider and wine from Three Dark Horses.
Serving up their tasty food truck fare will be popular Fork on the Road and city street regulars Burger Theory, Sneaky Pickle, Chimichurri Grill, Cheesy Street, Delectaballs, Skwish, Cargo Food Van, Phat Buddha Rolls, Rolling Pizza Oven, The Little Cake Tin and many more. We might just have to have one of everything from everyone!
Dougal McFuzzlebutt from McFuzzlebutt’s Manchen, an avid food promoter and craft beer advocate says, “The industry has evolved immensely over the past 3 years with consumers becoming accustomed to the fuller flavours of craft beer. It’s great to see so many South Australians supporting local breweries instead of commercial ones.”
“So many of our SA craft breweries have been recognised with awards interstate and internationally,” says Fork organiser, Joe Noone.
“To combine artisan brews with the unique flavours of our high quality street eateries is a match made in foodie heaven.”
Food rescue charity, OzHarvest will be accepting donations of non-perishable food items on the night so grab a few cans from the pantry and bring them along to help them support the needy.
All of the details are on the Fork on the Road Facebook page.
