Racing enthusiasts, get excited! With the ever-thrilling Adelaide Motorsport Festival cruising back to Victoria Park this March, you might just be in with a chance to see some of your favourite Formula 1 icons in person.
Returning to the festival is Finnish F1 race winner and unofficial South Australia ambassador, Valtteri Bottas. Fresh off his summer stint with the Tour Down Under, Bottas will return for his third consecutive Adelaide Motorsport Festival, just a week before the Formula 1 season kicks off in Melbourne.
This time around, Bottas will be behind the wheel of a DTM race-winning Mercedes 190E on Sunday, March 9th. The car has some serious history, having competed in the Bathurst 1000 and the Group A support race at the Australian Grand Prix in Adelaide.
Bottas isnβt the only F1 legend heading to town, fans can look forward to appearances from Damon Hill, Guenther Steiner, Thierry Boutsen, Alan Jones, David Brabham, and renowned F1 commentator David Croft.

Hill and Boutsenβboth past winners of the Australian Grand Prix in Adelaideβwill be getting back in the driverβs seat, ready to relive their glory days. Hill will take a spin in his first-ever F1 car, the Brabham BT60B, while Boutsen will drive the Benetton B190, the very car that won the 1990 Australian Grand Prix.
Aussie racing greats Alan Jones and David Brabham will be returning alongside the cars they drove in their first Australian Grand Prix appearances – Jones and the Beatrice Haas Lola THL1 and Brabham and the Brabham BT59.
The former Haas F1 boss and star of Netflixβs Drive to Survive, Guenther Steiner, will be back at the festival promoting his latest book, Unfiltered: My Incredible Decade in Formula 1. David Croft will also be making a pit stop in Adelaide, ready to share some insider knowledge from the F1 world.

All these F1 personalities and more will be available to meet in the Adelaide Motorsport Festivalβs Adelaide Marriott Grand Marquee, with access included in festival tickets.
Outside of the star-studded guest list, the festival will have non-stop action on the track with Formula 1 cars, V8 Supercars, sportscars, touring cars, motorbikes, and more. Off-track, check out the epic car displays, kidsβ zones, food trucks, bars, and activations.
