There have been no new cases of COVID-19 reported in South Australia today, and a total of 463 cases reported altogether.
There are three active cases in SA and 456 people have been cleared of COVID-19.
There have been four reported deaths from COVID-19.
More than 365,000 tests have been undertaken.
From midnight tonight, residential gatherings will be able to have up to 50 people and the 40 kilometre travel buffer zone for border communities in Victoria and SA will be reinstated.
If you are transiting to SA through Sydney or Canberra airports from Western Australia, the Northern Territory, Queensland or Tasmania, you will no longer be required to undertake 14 days self-isolation.
There is a significantly higher risk of COVID-19 due to current outbreaks interstate.
If you have any symptoms of COVID-19, no matter how mild, you need to get tested as soon as possible.
If you know someone with symptoms of COVID-19, encourage them to seek testing.
Once you get a test, return home immediately and wait for your results. If you receive a negative test result, you should still stay at home and not attend work, school or childcare until you are feeling well again.
Do not go to public places if you are unwell – this includes work, education, childcare, shopping centres, sporting events, social or religious gatherings.
Everyone must continue to follow measures that will help stop the spread. Practice good hygiene, keep 1.5 metres distance from others and stay at home if you are unwell.
People experiencing any of the following symptoms should be tested for COVID-19:
- Fever or chills (in the absence of an alternative illness that explains these symptoms)
- An acute respiratory infection e.g. symptoms of cough, sore throat, runny nose, or shortness ofbreath
- Loss of smell or alteration in the sense of taste
