Last year Mitolo Wines launched a brand new dining experience in McLaren Vale: Frankie Italo Dining & Disco Lounge (Frankie for short).
After an overwhelmingly positive response to the Italian inspired diner with disco balls, gelato, and a “cucina povera” approach to its food, the venue has now officially extended its hours to include Saturday (as well as trading its usual Sunday).

Now, all weekend you can kick your feet up, let your hair down and feast.
Drawing on the food inspired by merchants, artisans, farmers and nonna’s of the cobblestone streets of Italy, the menu reflects the classical Italian way of life. From Roman style pizza to handmade pasta, the menu has been carefully curated and is designed to share.
Enjoy mouthwatering pizza flavours like salame with mozzarella and origano, salsiccia with delicious friarielli and fiore di latte, and a classic tomato variety with aglio olio and parmigiano.
Frankie aims to be an energetic, casual, and chic venue, focusing on music from the Italo disco genre. It’s Mitolo Wines casual younger sibling compared to the brand’s cellar door which drips with elegance, and Little Wolf Osteria which mirrors that sophistication.

If you are looking for that polished dining experience, Little Wolf Osteria has unveiled its new Winter menu complete with a la carte and feed-me options. It’s perfect for those long, leisurely lunches with friends where you want to sample everything the restaurant has to offer.
While operating at a smaller capacity until the end of July, it will still take great pride in creating an exceptional dining experience for its guests.
Combining home-grown and locally sourced produce to create much-loved Italian dishes that ooze tradition and flavour, Executive Chef Vincenzo La Montagna has crafted a menu that satisfies the tastebuds and warms the soul, showcasing the best of Little Wolf’s offerings.
You’ll find dishes like pani stone-baked organic flour breads, ravioli del plin ricotta pasta parcels with broccoli romanesco, butter and parmigiano reggiano, and filetto 250g grass-fed Hereford scotch fillet with sautéed spinach.
With every bite, you’ll think you’re enjoying food right out of Nonna’s kitchen, with the handmade, authentic touch to every dish evoking an unforgettable sense of nostalgia and comfort.
Whether you’re a wine enthusiast searching for the perfect pairing or just craving a delicious feed this season, Little Wolf and Frankie at Mitolo promises to deliver an unforgettable taste of Winter in McLaren Vale.
