School Holidays are the dread of all parents, winter is particularly difficult as you can’t heave the kids outside in the sun. Don’t Fret! Every Wednesday and Saturday of the July School Holidays, free entertainment and activities are available at the new Henley Square pavilion. Whilst the kids are making snowflakes or getting face paint inspired by Frozen, Mums and Dads can grab a coffee and a well earned break.
The Pavilion is home to 28 specialty shops offering something for everyone inside and out and this July there will be even more reason to visit the vibrant Henley Beach food, retail and well-being destination.
Winter in the Henley Square Pavilion will offer free and exciting winter-themed activities for everyone to enjoy, with the Pavilion itself transforming into a magical space adorned with everything you’d expect of a joyful winter atmosphere including fairy-tale inspired snowflakes, maple tree, giant silver lanterns and stunning One Rundle Trading Co. installations.
Every Wednesday & Saturday of the July School Holidays families are encouraged to explore the Pavilion and participate in interactive cooking classes and demonstrations to inspire the home kitchen, boredom breaking winter craft, face painting and more – and it’s all FREE!
Local personality and much loved home cook Bree May (Food According to Bree) will bring her own flavour thanks to Henley Square Foodland, hosting a range of children’s cooking classes to keep little minds busy and healthy, and for the parents there will be the chance to learn some tricks of the trade with locally inspired cooking demonstrations using fresh produce from within the Pavilion.
Winter craft including make your own snow man, hats, snowflakes, jewellery and biscuit decorating will be on offer thanks to Essential Talent.
Sky Doodles fairy floss will create fluffy masterpieces giving everyone the chance to take home their own fairy floss snowman or hat and Love Birdy Face Painting will make sure visitors to the Pavilion can spend the day in character.
While the kids play, parents can stay and participate or explore the variety of shops inside and out at the Pavilion – spend the day, there’s plenty to find!
