On Tuesday, November 7th, Electra House is set to host its most anticipated and biggest event of the year, featuring a 3-course share menu along with a 3 hours champagne drinks package whilst soaking up the excitement of the Melbourne Cup.
Electra House’s exclusive Melbourne Cup package, priced at $199 per person, offers a delicious feast of dishes featuring fresh and locally sourced ingredients and free-flowing Pol Roger champagne for the entirety of the event—it’s literally the main reason people keep coming back year after year to celebrate Melbourne Cup and if you’re a lover of bubbly, it’s the place to be!
To kick things off, the entree options include citrus-cured salmon, caraway pickled beetroot, and an assortment of cured meats.
The mains offer a diverse selection to cater to all tastes, and whether you’re a meat lover or prefer a vegetarian option, there’s something for everyone. The Peri-Peri chicken with pickled cabbage slaw and slow-cooked beef cheek served with pomme puree and jus are both filled with flavour and sure to satisfy, while the lentil and vegetable pot pie is a hearty choice for vegetarians.
There’s also garlic herb potato with fried quinoa, as well as a rocket and fennel salad featuring radicchio, feta, and pepitas, which adds a refreshing touch to the meal.
