With the rising cost of living on everyone’s mind, Uniting Communities has announced they will be hosting a free Low-Cost Living Fair on Wednesday, October 16th at Hope’s Café in Beulah Park. The event is part of Anti-Poverty Week which runs from October 13th to October 19th.
The Low-Cost Living Fair will be a celebration of community, creativity, and connection, emphasising affordable living and financial wellbeing. If you’re keen to go, it’s the perfect outing for families, with a range of activities for all ages.
The event will have free entertainment, including live music and cultural dance performances, along with stalls offering hands-on activities, and arts and crafts workshops.
There will also be meditation and exercise sessions designed for every age and ability, so that everyone can participate. You can hunt for a bargain at the Goodies op shop, supporting a great cause. Plus, each fair guest will receive a $5 voucher for a small meal at the wonderful Hope’s Café.
This fair is hosted by Uniting Communities which is a respected not-for-profit organisation that works with over 80,000 South Australians each year, emphasising diversity and respect in their services. It will take place during Anti-Poverty Week which aims to create a better understanding of poverty within the Australian community, and encourage collective action to combat it.
