Calling all Wicked fans, it’s time to let your green heart sound at Bowden’s free outdoor cinema this Friday. Fringe might be over, but the balmy nights are here to stay, and what better to enjoy them than a movie night under the stars?
Thanks to a collaboration with Bowden Life, this family-friendly event will bring the newly released and highly anticipated film Wicked to the beautiful Bowden Park.

The fun kicks off at 5pm when the Plant 4 eateries and bar open and the movie starts as the sun sets. All Plant 4 favourites will be available as well as new pop-up stalls in the park including popcorn, fairy floss, sweets, platters and all the essential movie night snacks – they have the sweetness covered… minus you of course.
The Plant 4 bar will be serving a fantastic array of SA wine, local craft beer, spirits and cocktails from SA’s cult wineries and distilleries along with plenty of non-alcoholic alternatives for kids or adults. Feel free to grab your food and drinks and take them into the park to enjoy throughout the movie.

This event is completely free, making it a perfect night out for the whole family. To get a good spot, Plant 4 recommends arriving early, and don’t forget to bring your own rug, bean bag or deck chair to relax and enjoy the film.
So, grab your friends and family and see the sun go down in the beautiful Land of Oz – also known as Bowden Park – this Friday and let the magic of Wicked cast its spell on you. Ariana Grande on the big screen…need I say more? We’ll see you there.
