Adelaide Metro is making New Year’s Eve celebrations more accessible this year by offering free travel on all buses, trams, and trains from 5pm on Sunday, 31st December, until 6am on Monday, 1st January 2023.
This initiative is a convenient option for those attending the seafront fireworks, city festivities, or the Big Bash League match at Adelaide Oval.
Cricket fans heading to see the Adelaide Strikers versus Melbourne Stars can enjoy free travel all day on 31st December. Additional services will be available to manage the crowd before and after the game.
Be aware of some expected disruptions due to the celebrations, especially at Glenelg and in the city. These may include bus detours and stop closures. It’s a good idea to check the latest updates on service changes to plan your travel.
