Fresh radio is back once again with its Voice Over Course for those keen on fine-tuning their vocal cords to start a prolific career in media.
The dedicated Adelaide broadcaster is known for showcasing local talent with a love for music and providing opportunities to newbies in the industry.
It’s no surprise then that they are hosting an intensive workshop for those looking to get a step closer to a career in radio, TV, games, audio books and more.
It’s also open to those who are just interested in the program, have been told they have an interesting voice or always put on impersonations that make get-togethers that much more fun.
The weekend workshop will be held in their city-based space where well-known radio hosts Ben and Liam first started out alongside other alumni Anthony ‘Lehmo’ Lehmann and Sam Mac.
Led by the voice of Fresh’s main team, the two-day workshop will cover an extensive skill set. Step foot in the studio and join a well-known station learning techniques behind recordings, jumping into networking, vocal exercises and building your voice with secret tips and tricks.
It’s a huge chance to break into the industry for emerging creatives, it also gives an opportunity for those keen on journalism. Areas of the course will involve traffic and news reads, advertising and live speaking segments.
The participants will further their knowledge and a new set of skills to bring into an exciting career in media and will walk away with a professional 2–3-minute voice-over demo to use in future endeavours.
People will be able to gain firsthand access to how Fresh’s content is made and an express connection to experts and a shot with a fun renowned radio station.
