Adelaide is home to some pretty talented musicians. Superstars such as Sia and Groove Terminator got their start in this humble city of ours and a fresh wave of new talent is constantly coming through the ranks.
That’s why local legends, Fresh 92.7 have introduced a new weekly segment, specifically created to put a spotlight on an upcoming Adelaide artist. More than just a radio station, Fresh is a community that exists to support and promote its people and showcase some of the incredible local talent that Adelaide has to offer.
The weekly segment titled, Fresh Off The Block, will highlight a different artist each Thursday to help bring a voice to Adelaide’s emerging talent.
Fresh 92.7 is synonymous with great, new sounds and since the inception of the daytime segment, the team have had such an incredible response from budding musicians that they have created its very own one-hour show to show off even more artists. From 11pm Wednesday nights, you can tune into Fresh Off The Block and get your finger on the pulse of Adelaide’s best new artists.
Fresh Off The Block is hosted by Fresh’s very own Matiah, an artist in her own right who is passionate about supporting upcoming musicians and mentoring them on how to grow and succeed in the notoriously tough music industry.
This week’s segment on Thursday is dedicated to 19-year-old producer, Cooper Telford, aka Runzo whose tracks have amassed over 300k plays on Sound Cloud.
Tune into Fresh 92.7 every Thursday from 11:30am and Wednesday nights from 11pm for Fresh Off The Block.
