It’s that time of year again when Adelaide’s favourite community station, Fresh 92.7 take us through the top dance tracks that got us through 2022. And it’s not just any old countdown, it also comes with an epic party where you can head down for a full afternoon of music and celebrations on January 14.
Join the beloved hosts, Davo, Tom and Callum, Tayla and Cale as they go live straight from the party at The Glenelg Pier Hotel as they take us through the hottest tunes of 2022 as voted by you.
With that being said, if you haven’t yet jumped on to the website and voted for your favourite tunes, be sure to do so ASAP with voting closing this Friday, January 6th! Cast your vote here.
Sitting oceanside on the bustling Holdfast Promenade, the Pier Hotel is the perfect place for a summer afternoon spent listening to the best tunes of the year and with a huge selection of beers, wines and cocktails, you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to wetting your whistle. Voted SA’s Best Beachside Venue, if you haven’t yet been down to The Pier, this is the perfect opportunity.
The newly renovated adjoining restaurant, Coast, is also a beautiful spot for lunch so you can fuel up before (or during) the big day.
Last year’s countdown saw Majestic’s funky remix of the Boney M classic, Rasputin, take out the top spot over Dopamine’s re-edit of Friday originally by Riton and Nightcrawler, but who will be taking out the top song of 2022? Well, that’s yet to be determined but if Davo has anything to do with it, it’ll be Danielle (smile on my face) by UK producer, Fred Again.
The free event kicks off from 11am with Tayla kicking off the countdown. Cale will take over from 1pm and Davo, Tom and Callum will be rounding out the top tracks from 3pm.
Each year, the Top 92 party is one not to be missed with the music continuing long after the countdown is over with Fresh’s very own Lisa D taking over the decks from 5:30pm.
