Fresh faces breathe new life to Cafe Paparazzi

Unley restaurant Cafe Paparazzi receives a facelift with the help of new management, re-opening its doors on Wednesday, June 22

Adelaide has no shortage of amazing restaurants, flaunting every type of incredible cuisine. Cafe Paparazzi at Unley is no exception.

Although the business has been open for years, they have re-opened under new management. The restaurant announced the change of hands in early May on its social media, leaving not-so cryptic posts alluding to the upcoming renovations.

The restaurant has only just re-opened yesterday after months of construction. The team is yet to release the anticipated new menu, but the family-owned business mentioned the fact that they are aiming to incorporate new menu items inspired by family recipes, created with love and care by an award-winning culinary team.

Some of the mouthwatering classics include arancini balls, Napoli wood oven pizza and authentic pasta dishes.

The kitchen promises to serve up delicious creations all day long, along with amazing coffee and cake available into the night. The extensive menus aim to cater to all tastes whether traditional or adventurous. The restaurant has a carefully-curated wine and beverage list that will be sure to delight the senses with all your favourites, as well as some you have yet to discover.

The restaurant first gained notoriety under the management of food entrepreneur Mirella Morizzi-Tambakis. A chance meeting with fellow foodie Leah Itsines proved to spark the idea to build off of the existing Clean Eating menu. The initial goal of this business venture was to bring ‘Healthy Street Food’ to South Australians, and that they did.

In March 2015, the restaurant launched the new Clean Eating menu as an extension to their current Italian cafe menu.  The Clean Eating menu was designed by Dr Andrea Robertson (Osteopath and owner of Xtend Barre). Each menu item is preservative and gluten free, with no processed sugar or dairy. Some options have natural sugars (honey, maple syrup, dried fruit) and goat’s dairy. However, these are clearly identified on the menu. Many options can be 100% free of fructose and goats dairy upon request.

Taking to its Facebook the new team at Cafe Paparazzi expressed that “we are passionate about providing the best possible dining experience by using high-quality ingredients and treating you like guests in their own home.”
