Hotel Richmond’s monthly fashion event that showcases the work of emerging local designers will happen on July 10th, with parades coming from a collaboration of efforts from TAFESA’s Fashion design courses and Closet Mod.
July’s edition of #FreshFashionFridays packs fresh talent straight from TAFESA with a Student Showcase & a brand new collection from local label Closet Mod.
Garments from students who have enlisted in the TAFESA’s Retail and Design course will be parading their work for the first time on a catwalk. With lots of appropriate winter colours such as dark reds, greens and blacks.
Also parading her work is Jordan Bishop who is designing a brand new collection for Closet Mod that is inspired by the 70’s. The collection promises lots of bright prints and colours as well as those flares we all know so well. How on trend!
All designers will be taking garment orders on the night. Also lending their skills and expertise will be models from FTM Model Management, Hung Tran and the team from Blow It’s a Hair Thing and Inglot Cosmetics Australia.
“I really love it! FFF has become a great melting pot for people interested in local and emerging fashion to come and interact with each other,” said Sarika Young of FTM Model Management, who contributes models from her model agency for the event, “Each month has seen a great collaboration of people who are working to make something really great in Adelaide”.
A meeting of fresh ideas and local trends, the free event kicks off at 7pm with Hotel Richmond featuring their signature Espresso Martini for that extra buzz on the night. There will also be lovely goody bags given out on the night.
