If you’re looking for a Fringe show that invites audiences to experience something unexpected and slow down, then A Journey to Euphoria is calling your name.
Making its South Australian premiere in 2026, A Journey to Euphoria will transform The Bunker stage at Fool’s Paradise into what can only be described as a living, breathing meditation. Running from March 18th to 22nd, the immersive 50-minute performance combines circus, aerial, fire and mindfulness into a sensory experience that’s far different from what you might expect.
Created, produced and performed by Queensland-based multidisciplinary artist Rachel Joi Riggall, under her banner Euphoric Flow, the work guides audiences through the five elements of Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ether/Space in a carefully curated journey towards harmony and release.
Expect acrobatics and circus flow arts, fire twirling, aerial lyra and silks, and LED flow woven together with moments of guided meditation. Rather than a circus for circus’s sake, A Journey to Euphoria reframes performance as something shared. This is not just about watching a show; instead, the audience is breathing, feeling and travelling through each elemental shift alongside the performers.
“This show was born from a desire to bring meditation off the mat and onto the stage,” says creator and performer Rachel Riggall. “It’s about giving audiences permission to pause, to feel, and to be carried through the elements into a state of euphoria, together.”
Originally developed for Brisbane’s Anywhere Festival, the production has since evolved through performances at Sol Vibrations Festival and Sydney’s Roots Women’s Embodiment Festival. For its Adelaide season, the theatricality and technical precision have been further refined, elevating the immersive quality of the work.
