Adelaide-based circus troupe Gravity & Other Myths (GOM) is celebrating its 15th anniversary at the Adelaide Fringe with a return of their acclaimed show Ten Thousand Hours. Running from February 21st to March 23rd, the show is part of a special celebration of GOM’s history and innovative approach to contemporary circus.
Ten Thousand Hours is an inspiring tribute to the dedication required to achieve greatness, examining the hours of physical commitment and sacrifice necessary to perfect acrobatic skill. With this show, GOM invites audiences to witness the incredible transformation of their bodies through time, sweat, and intense practice. Featuring eight elite acrobats and a live musician, Ten Thousand Hours explores how skill is obtained, honed, and transformed into a life-changing art.
The performance dives deep into the essence of mastery, with the artists reflecting on their personal journeys toward perfecting their craft.
