Fringe: Blanc de Blanc Encore Returns To Fringe With New Hedonistic Show

Audience members are encouraged to embrace the experience, inject a little French flair and dress to the theme: vintage white with a dash of sparkle!

The hedonistic world of Blanc de Blanc returns to The Garden of Unearthly Delights in 2020 as the headline production with a brand new show, BLANC de BLANC ENCORE.

Off the back of a record-breaking Sydney Opera House world premiere, and following sold out seasons in Darwin and Brisbane in 2019, ENCORE serves an intoxicating blend of fun, flirtation and acrobatic feats, transporting audiences to a champagne nirvana.

Featuring the same blend of acrobatic artistry and risqué revelry that cemented its predecessor’s place at the top of Adelaide’s must-see lists, BLANC de BLANC ENCORE fizzes and froths at Fortuna Spiegeltent.

Created by Strut & Fret Production House, the creative force behind Adelaide’s favourites LIMBO UNHINGED and 2019’s LIFE – The Show, BLANC de BLANC ENCORE will bring the glamorous Parisian flair back to the Garden of Unearthly Delights.

Founding Director of Strut & Fret Scott Maidment said Fortuna Spiegeltent stage is set to come alive with some of the world’s most incredible performers and musicians.

“This show pushes the envelope even further than the original production. We looked for performers who bring a triple-threat of talent. We want to thoroughly blur the lines between artist and audience,” said Mr Maidment.

“Returning to the production is incredible choreographer Kevin Maher, with set and lighting design again by Philip Gladwell and costumes by the formidable James Browne. We’re turning the dial up on the original with this brand-new show BLANC De BLANC ENCORE.”

The star studded, internationally sourced cast includes numerous Cirque du Soleil alumni Felix Pouliot, aerial duo Spencer Craig and Caitlin Marion and Remi Martin Lenz, LA-based burlesque starlet Skylar Benton, Canadian aerial artist Tuedon Ariri and Mongolian native and contortionist, Uugantuya “Ugi” Otgonbayar.

Audience members are encouraged to embrace the experience, inject a little French flair and dress to the theme: vintage white with a dash of sparkle!
