Fringe: Disco Bitch

Bridget faheyDisco Bitch is a cabaret/comedy show that slaps on war paint, decorates with duct tape and finds a thousand-and-one uses for stringed instruments. Local resident Bridget Fahey, accompanied by percussionist Justin Stone, are about to embark on their first fringe show, mixing comedic insight with their own brand of folk punk.Their songs include subjects like SCIENCE, SEX & BILL MURRAY. It’s a little bit political, a little bit bawdy & quite cheeky. The show goes for 50-minutes and will be at The Maid, 1 Magill road Stepney, on March the 7th, 8th and 9th at 10pm. Ticket are fifteen dollars on the door, however there are deals for students and Fringe artists.

When she isn’t on stage, she is knitting, crocheting and sewing stuff for her d.i.y lable ‘brick-en-brack’.

Justin Stone has been a percussionist for many years. He has performed in many bands and is also a founding member of The Folko-oh-noes. He has performed in a few different countries, and his drumming styles vary from Jazz to Punk. In his spare time, he is a university student and a stick-fighter.
