Fringe favourite 27 Club is set to deliver an electric rock experience at Gluttony this year for one last hurrah before taking a break in 2026 due to touring commitments. As one of Adelaide Fringe’s biggest shows, 27 Club will take over Gluttony’s 1,200-capacity open-air venue, The Fantail, every night of the festival from February 21st to March 23rd, with preview performances running from February 21st to February 23rd.

This unmissable season is sure to be a festival highlight, featuring an all-star lineup of iconic Australian talent, including Kevin Mitchell (Bob Evans, Jebediah), Sarah McLeod (The Superjesus), Carla Lippis (Mondo Psycho), and Dusty Lee Stephensen. Special guests for this season include Justin Burford (End of Fashion), Shaun Holton (Southern Empire), and Virginia Lillye (Sydney).

Winner of the Adelaide Fringe’s Best Music Award in 2021, 27 Club returns for its fifth consecutive season at Gluttony with its high-energy arena rock show. This performance pays tribute to the legendary rock stars – Hendrix, Joplin, Cobain, Winehouse, and Morrison – all of who tragically passed away at the age of 27, hence the show’s name.

Produced and directed by South Australia’s Zac Tyler from Amplified House, 27 Club is a powerful celebration of the music left behind by these icons.

“We promise a season you’ll never forget,” Tyler says. “To all the Adelaide fans who love this show and have supported us over the last five years, this is the last chance in a while you’ll see this incredible line-up performing some of the greatest songs in rock history. This is not a farewell, but a ‘see you soon.’”

After an incredible season at Sydney Fringe’s Spiegeltent, music lovers in Adelaide will have the chance to experience the stories and music of rock royalty. With a supremely talented cast bringing their unique takes on anthems from the 27 Club’s iconic members, this is an experience fans won’t want to miss.
