Infamous, the risqué, exhilarating burlesque circus is set to dazzle audiences once again in its return to the Adelaide Fringe in 2025. This adult-themed circus will grace the festival for an entire month, over February and March.
Infamous is the ultimate seductive, captivating spectacle, with a blend of intimate and grandiose moments. The impressive two-hour performance features world-class acts including mesmerising flying trapeze and daring stunts across the board. The show delights audiences with a cheeky mix of original music, burlesque, circus, and cabaret.

Last year’s Infamous Fringe debut saw the show become decorated in five-star reviews. 2024’s run of Infamous was called “hot, sexy, saucy, and spectacular.” Showcasing some of the best circus and burlesque performers from around the world, Infamous is not only seductive, but an immensely impressive exhibit of athleticism and commitment to the crafts of circus and burlesque.
For a next-level night, audiences have the opportunity to upgrade to a premium experience. This experience offers VIP tables for two which include exclusive viewing spots with drinks, snacks, and a whole lot of indulgence. Food and beverages are available for purchase from VIP tables. The venue also has a licensed bar for those looking to enjoy a tasty beverage during the show.

All 33 shows will be performed in the custom-built Infamous tent, situated in Ellis Park on Sir Donald Bradman Drive. Main Stage at the Infamous Theatre is a classic red and white Spiegel Big Top complete with a low wooden stage surrounded by elevated seating.
The tent accommodates nearly 700 guests each night, with performances scheduled for 8pm from Tuesday to Friday and on Sundays. On Saturdays, shows will be held at 6pm and 9pm.

Director of Infamous, Michelle Jarman, says the 2024 response to Infamous at the Fringe far exceeded expectations.
“We were absolutely thrilled by how many people came to see the show, and there was no question that we would return in 2025 with the team’s amazing performance,” says Michelle.
“The Adelaide Fringe Festival is the first-ever arts festival that Infamous has been linked to, and we hope to see new and returning audiences discover – or re-discover – the grand story we tell. Infamous brings a different circus experience unlike anything lovers of the genre have seen.”

With a cast of over 20 and an even larger backstage crew, Infamous is anything but a small-scale production. Its diverse talents are the heartbeat of its success, blending electrifying performances with jaw-dropping spectacle. Expect powerhouse vocals from live singers and edge-of-your-seat thrills as the heart-stopping Wheel of Death leaves audiences gasping.
The event has already gained popularity touring throughout Australia and the US, captivating over 200,000 patrons with its enthralling brand of circus, cabaret, and burlesque.
With its provocative flair and high-caliber performances, Infamous is anticipated to once again be a highlight of mad March, delivering thrilling performances all through Fringe season.
