Ever thought of playing bingo with some Bogans? Well this is your opportunity, but make sure you bring along a big group of mates.
This is far from your traditional bingo as the hosts pour out a f**k load of swearing and cringe-worthy commentary that’ll have you stifling laughs and squirming in your seat. Don’t expect an ounce of political correctness here as these Bogans unleash their trash culture (or complete lack of culture?) upon their bingo participants.
You won’t be sitting quietly in the dark being entertained, as this is interactive theatre and your offensive language is required. Be prepared to shout out “wobble wobble” when 88 (two fat ladies) is called, “Breakfast of Champions” when 69 makes an appearance (for those who don’t understand, give it a Google), and “lazy b***h” when 85 (fat lady in a gopher) rings in your ears.
Throughout the night you’ll also have plenty of opportunities to rock out to some absolute classics from Guns N’ Roses and AC/DC to Pat Benatar and Janis Joplin. You may even find yourself competing in an air guitar competition!
Your Bogan hosts are hilarious and make sure you realise how proud they are of their Bogan culture. Shewonna, your female Bogan host and DJ, is a complete riot throughout the entire night, throwing herself on male audience members, drawling swear words into the microphone and making sure her leopard print G-string is fully on display.
Unfortunately, the atmosphere was slightly lacking on the night as there weren’t as many bingo players as would make up a truly energetic and fun atmosphere. I would definitely recommend bringing along a big group of mates to fully enjoy the outlandish Bogan humour.
Brush your mullet, put on your nicest flanney and get your mates together for a fun night of bingo with Adelaide’s classic Bogans.
