And their Back! Hugh Sheridan, one of Adelaide’s best exports, is back with his crooner friends for another Fringe. Hugh and friends love their Adelaide audiences and we love them back. This year’s show is at the Masonic Great Hall, not a great choice of venue. The sound was a definite problem, such a large hall is not acoustically suited to this type of show. That said, the trio were as fabulous as ever.

Hugh Sheridan with Emile Welman and Gabe Roland crooned their way through a variety of hits, some from the Sinatra, Dean Martin era, some a lot more modern. This included a great version of Chandelier (the Sia hit). Most of the audience were up dancing before long and these three were dancing along with them. There was lots of interaction with the crowd and the hour passed very quickly.

All of this was backed by a terrific band who struggled with poor sound balance in this venue. This show is one of the gems every Fringe and deserves a better location.
