Circus’Cision is back for another Fringe season with their late night variety show showcasing some of the Fringe’s best circus performances.

Head First Acrobats have put together a line-up that at times will have you laughing until your sides hurt whilst at other times you will be mesmerised by the incredible talent and strength needed to perform such talents. With dick jokes a plenty and the very real possibility you will never be able to quite look at ballet the same again, this show is entertaining from a point of view that it is heavily interactive and brings the art of circus to life in an adults only show that is tastefully put together. Dick jokes and full frontal nudity are intertwined with your more classic circus style acrobatic acts which link the show together with one very charismatic Ring Master making the change over between sets floorless.

The best part of this show is that there isn’t a stand out performer; each person brings a talent all of their own which highlights a level of skill that is admiral and of top quality which is a testament to Head First Acrobats.

Whilst the show is similar to last year’s variety show by this company, the new elements definitely make it worth a repeat visit. As the last show of the night in the Octagon there is a possibility that it may not start exactly on time (on the night reviewed it was running roughly ten to fifteen minutes late from the listed start time). However that is probably just more of a reason to check out the crew from Railed preforming their full show in the timeslot before Circus’Cision because if their sets in the variety are anything to go by it would be a great show.
