Lots of laughter and some very clever parody songs make this a show not to be missed.

Lil Miss Mel, otherwise known as Melanie Sander Wilson, reprised her 2022 Fringe debut, solo show and took the audience on an hilarious trip down her personal memory lane, with the terrific piano and vocal accompaniment of Deb Brennan.
Her energetic performance had all the best elements of cabaret – heartfelt reminiscences, some naughty secrets, reflections on life, great music and wonderful songs. Whether in their original version or Mel’s delightful parodies, her powerful voice covered everything from disco to soul to rock anthems.
I really enjoyed the tale of her first appearance in an ABBA tribute band, after all who could resist the opportunity to wear platform shoes? Unfortunately, it was at a 21st birthday party, in a paddock, and there was nowhere to change other than portaloos. Mel’s account of falling over on the wet floor and then demonstrating how she performed commando style, to the tune of Waterloo was hilarious – with the somewhat restricted dance moves and a very clever rewrite of the lyrics.
A show from the heart, bursting with wonderful music, energy, humour and dedicated to her daughter.
