Not really sure what I expected, but what we got was a variety show with a few unusual acts, which makes the title Debauched a bit of a misnomer.

There were Drag Queens and acrobats, comedy and song, a few ladies scantily clad, a couple of items that looked painful (rolling on broken glass can’t be fun) but not much to earn the title.

Without a program or other information, I am unable to name the acts, but a few were impressive. The strong man who held the balancing pole and his graceful partner was very good, the acrobat with the ladder and exceptional balance was impressive (until he returned and put a balloon up his nose, to pull out of his mouth) and the diminutive girl who gracefully used broken glass and a bed of nails to entertain. Oh, and there was an act called Bubble-gum Girl who played with balls of bubble-gum (and other substances) putting them in and pulling them out of every orifice on her body!

The ‘lady’ who MC’d the show and sang a couple of songs was welcoming and amusing, and impressive Queen who closed the show with a song and an athletic dance was certainly talented. However, I am forced to admit that the acrobats and athletic couples were the most entertaining. If you are looking for something different this maybe it.
