Adelaide welcomes back Erin Fowler’s award-winning physical theatre comedy, EGG, to the Adelaide Fringe.

This relatable and approachable performance is a very personal and intimate story that resonates with many and will certainly be appreciated by a female audience.

The performance is a unique & funny exploration of fertility and motherhood. A journey that many women may face as they progress through their lives.

The performance takes you on Erin’s journey through motherhood, being 32 and single, her biological clock is ticking. Something that, at 31, I can personally relate to.

The talent battles the decision to freeze her eggs at an exorbitant expense, as she singles out other potential options. We are not going to lie; this has been a discussion that is rife in our workplace.

Confusion strikes Erin as she wonders whether she even wants a child, and by the time she makes her decision, will it be too late? This is something that many women can relate to.

Combining dance, clowning, bagpipes, and a cheeky life-sized egg, EGG questions all things fertility and motherhood in a powerful exploration of how we make the big decisions in life. We are here for it.

EGG is a deeply personal performance that will resonate with many, as this solo performance is suitable for those wanting to see a quirky show that they may find really hits home.
