Fringe Review: Just Desserts – Adults Only Tasting

Just Desserts- Adults Only Tasting is Michelle Pearson’s second show for this Adelaide Fringe season and it is simply delicious. Turning many well known ballads into her own, Michelle takes you through a journey of empowerment and a tantalising sugar rush.

There is no faulting this show. As you as you sit in the gorgeous Courtyard of the Treasury it is easy to forget you are in the heart of the CBD, and the sounds of the band mixed with Michelle’s larger than life voice makes for an Adults only experience you will be dying to experience again.

Kitchen queens Loren Quinn and Rhiannon Groutsch are also back to serve you three courses of desserts which will have your mouth watering and your taste buds dancing.

Not just a cabaret show, this carries a great dialogue and the audience participation adds a sensual/comedy aspect to the show which really allows it to appeal to a wide audience and the empowerment message is nicely aimed at both sexes. With two stand out shows this Fringe season, if you missed Comfort Food Cabaret make sure you do not miss Just Desserts.
