Stop Stopping The Unstoppable! Think about that title for a moment. It makes sense! And it is the topic of a very funny pseudo-motivational seminar, that may not be all that pseudo when examined, but is very funny.

Young American stand-up comic, Ross Everett is visiting our shores for the first time and one hopes that it’s not his last visit.

This is not huge raucous, laugh-out-loud material (although it does elicit it occasionally), but rather, what this reviewer likes to call, intellectual comedy. You do come away from this show up-lifted and feeling good about yourself.

If one didn’t know that Everett was a comedian, they would swear that his regular job was that of an inspirational motivational speaker – his parody is that good. All the expected, well-worn cliches are there, but very cleverly disguised. Everett certainly knows how to work an audience, from the shyest, quietest type to the most energetic of us. On the night reviewed, he had both types in the audience and coped splendidly.

Do your inner-self a favour: go and be motivated by Ross Everett (mmmmmmmmmm!)
