Straight Outta Compo is another show packed to the brim with a line-up of A list comedians sharing the stage to bring variety and offer audiences something for everyone. The difference with Straight Outta Compo is that there are also skits where the four comedians interact with each other.

As a huge fan of all of these guys individually, I thought they would knock it out the ball park. However, sadly I was left a little disappointed. Individually Joe Avati, George Kapiniaris, Rob Shehadie and Tahir were great with Joe and Tahir in particular having great sets. However,  the group skits seemed to drag on and missed the mark. Whilst new material was funny it was over shadowed by the use of old Adelaide jokes related to residents living in Elizabeth with a long interval making the show a feature length production.

The show debuted at the Fringe so no doubt it will become more polished as the season goes on and is well worth a look if you love these guys as it is certainly a privilege to see some of the best in the business live on stage. Straight Outta Compo is a different style of comedy which incorporates live theatre in to the mix rather than just your usual stand-up routine.
