Beatbox addict and star of Tom Tom Crew returns to the Adelaide Fringe this year with his 2012 Fringe hit.

Following on from tours of London, Edinburgh, Brisbane, Germany, and Singapore; Australia’s most prolific multi-vocalist returns to create mind-blowing soundscapes armed with just a microphone.

A lone guy standing on a stage for an hour making strange noises with his nose, throat and mouth could be seriously annoying.

But Tom Thum’s amazing vocal talents are so impressive that you can’t help but be mesmerised even if beatboxing isn’t your thing. It helps that he’s pretty funny and not bad looking either.

While Tom makes light of his beatboxing addiction in ‘Beating The Habit’ you have to wonder how addicted he really is to manage to come up with some of the sounds he creates.

If you missed the show last year I highly recommend checking out Tom Thum at The Garden of Unearthly Delights.
