On Friday I was watching an actor mesmerising an audience with his performance as Macbeth in the Bunker Trilogy and suddenly here he was looking very different! An ordinary man with a history of loving Star Trek now embarrassed by his early obsession and suddenly there is a girl, a temp at his workplace dressed as Spock!

This is a very funny play and Sam Donnelly is brilliant. He talks to us of his childhood, of being bullied for being a nerd, of his Grandfather who understood and supported him. His struggles with “coming out as a Trekker”, his efforts to win the girl are all part of the dialogue he has with himself. I can’t tell you more without ruining the production!

So all I can do is encourage you to make your way to the The Queens Theatre and watch it for yourself. Everybody needs a good laugh! You deserve to see this fun show: go book your tickets NOW.
