Monday 18 January
7.30am – 9.30am UniSA Cycling Sports Forum
Join MC Patrick Jonker, himself a winner of the TDU with a UniSA jersey on his back, and our panel of academic and cycling industry experts for a discussion on health in cycling.
From wound healing to diet, pain management and even bike fit, University of South Australia is leading the way in health research, and some of their talented staff will be join us for this FREE event.

ETIXX NUTRITION SESSIONS
Dr Gary Slater, sports dietitian and exercise physiologist, will be presenting a number of FREE nutrition seminars Cycling, at the Adelaide City Council Tour Village on Monday 18th January. This will include a 10min Q & A from one of the Etixx teams Etixx – Quick-Step Cycling Team, ORICA-GreenEDGE and Tinkoff. Register today and kick start the new year with some expert knowledge! 11:30am – 12:30pm Cycling Nutrition 101
Discover the basics of sports nutrition for cyclists including fuelling, hydration and race day nutrition.
2pm – 3pm Surviving the week ahead, Nutrition and Recovery Strategies
This session will focus on sports nutrition for cyclists riding in the Santos Tour Down Under week. Find out what you should be thinking about on the longer days, how to tackle hills, heat and more.
3:30pm – 4:30pm How to build your cycling meal
A practical session where attendees learn how to build their meal plan to maximise their cycling performance.
Tuesday 19 January
12.30 – 1.30pm MAC Bike Safety Workshop
Bike SA and MAC’s award-winning ‘Be Safe Be Seen’ program is coming to the Santos Tour Down Under! It’s 30 minutes of free safety advice, and every attendee receives a safety gift pack, containing a saddle bag, backpack cover, slap bands, sticker and a 3-month membership to Bike SA, including comprehensive personal accident and public liability insurance.

Wednesday 20 January
5-6pm Etixx Women’s Forum
Join Santos Women’s Tour Race Director Kimberly Conte and the stars of Women’s Cycling for a wrap up of the Santos Women’s Tour and find out more about the status and direction of Women’s Professional cycling.
The riders will stick around for a 30 minute autograph session immediately after, so make sure you come down and show your support.
